Inorganic chemistry seeks to define a wealth of new materials using all the elements in the periodic table. Our focus is on the metal oxide chemistry which is a buzzword on a high-tech material, but do we really understand it at the molecular level ? We explore how to approach a molecular entity of the metal oxides, called polyoxometalates and metal sulfide molecules, just like organic chemists do.
