Research

The theoretical chemistry group is divided into experimental part and computational part.

Experimental Part

In the experimental part, we work on the development of new methods for solid state NMR spectroscopy, especially high precision measurement for molecular dynamics of paramagnetic and complex substances. Also, we study the exotic properties of matters using ESR, XRD, Neutron scattering, DSC and the newly developed method.

Main Theme

  • New method for solid state NMR spectroscopy.
  • Study of exotic physical properties using physicochemical techniques.

Computational Part

In the computational part, we study about the static/dynamic properties of matters, using techniques from statistical and molecular physics, then propose high precision and low cost new methods/modifications for systems that are difficult to compute with existing methods.

Main Theme

  • Derivative and application of two-particle electron propagator theory
  • Quantum dynamics research by quantum trajectory method
