PREFACE
The Japan Society of Coordination Chemistry (JSCC) and the research project of “Coordination Asymmetry” (Grant-in-Aid for "Scientific Research on Innovative Areas") organize a Japan-US bilateral meeting as a part of the JSCC annual meeting in 2017. The JSCC has previously organized bilateral meetings, either during its annual meetings in Japan or as a part of meetings held in other countries. These are intended to foster mutual understanding, stimulation and sharing of ideas, and deepen collaboration between us. The bilateral meeting is a two-days symposium, which is held on Sep. 15th and 16th, 2017, and the second day (16th) is a part of the JSCC annual meeting. The JSCC annual meeting is held in Hokkaido University, Sapporo on Sep. 16th, 17th and 18th, 2017. We have 8 invited speakers from US and 20 invited speakers from Japan for the bilateral meeting.
